While his main job is commentating on darts, for Sky Sports, he has recently dabbled in the word of books!

He will again be giving us an exclusive look behind the scenes from the 2008 Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts Tournaments.

TIME out.....

Taking time out from the darts spending, it with the family, but keen to get and back and see one of the most open World Championships, I have seen in 30 years.

WOW WEE FOR DUTCH DOUBLE!

I am still ‘shaking and a quaking’ after sitting in my hotel and goggling one of the greatest matches it has been my pleasure to watch…..in fact, I would put it in my 15 best of ALL TIME since 1972.

A – MASON GRACE!

I have been a fan and follower of the fortunes of Chris Mason for many years now. There’s no doubt that there is sheer talent beneath the choirboy smile, but just what goes on in that head?

TAYLOR UNDER THE COSH!

Well, didn’t we nearly lose the mighty Power in Round One? The green-clad Dutch Wonderboy Michael van Gerwen came at him like a rat up a drainpipe and had a dart to win 3-1. Sensationelle, or what!

Darting Valhalla

What a magnificent return top darts has had to the Ally Pally. This was the great venue for the News of the World Championship when Tommy Barrett, Peter Chapman and Barry Twomlow held the trophy aloft and Alan Evans sent his Welsh fans wild in 1972 on ITV’s World of Sport.
