SCOTT has burst onto the scene in 2007 with some impressive displays on the circuit that have propelled him to fourth in the WDF rankings.
An experience player on the County circuit, Scott has captained Yorkshire for the past three years as well as topping the national averages.
He made his debut in a major tournament at the World Masters 12 months ago, where he reached the last 32, and victory in the Dutch Open this February saw him claim his first title on the circuit.
Scott has followed that up by winning the Welsh Masters and reaching the final of the Scottish Open and Welsh Open.
The England international reached the second round of the International Darts League in May, and overcame James Wade to reach the last 16 at the World Darts Trophy in September, where he went down 3-2 to Group H rival Mervyn King.
Scott will enter this tournament in top form, after hitting a nine-darter recently playing for Bradford in the Superleague against Frickley.
