PETER has reached three World Championship finals during his successful career, although Phil Taylor has prevented him from taking home the coveted trophy on each occasion.
A deadly finisher on his day, Manley claimed the 2003 Las Vegas Desert Classic title and is a former World Matchplay runner-up and world number one.
A second round loser to Wynand Havenga at last year's World Championship, he bounced back to win the Open Holland Masters title in April.
Manley also reached the final of the Masters of Darts in February and the semi-finals of the Desert Classic in July to maintain his position within the world's top six and secure a fourth successive Premier League Darts spot.
