KEVIN has made his name during 2007 with a series of quality displays, which culminated in him coming through the ITV Wildcard Qualifier to win a place in this tournament.
Originally from Newcastle but now based in Northamptonshire, Kevin joined the professional circuit at the start of this year after winning the Northants Open twice as well as the 2004 Cleveland Open.
A run to the semi-finals of the UK Open Midlands Regional Final in April saw him win a place in the UK Open Finals, where he lost to Alan Green at Bolton.
Kevin also came through a qualifier to win a place in the International Darts League in May, where he lost in the Preliminary Round.
His form this Autumn has been strong, reaching the final of the UK Open Irish Regional Final last month - where he went down to Raymond van Barneveld - just a week after coming through the ITV Wildcard Qualifier against the likes of Kevin Painter, Jason Clark and Wes Newton in Wolverhampton.
